monday mood lifter

we've been experiencing spring for most of this year, and wishing for more rain. right now i'm focused on dirt. dirt is the foundation to planting. we've been anxiously anticipating what grows out of it, preoccupied with the idea of spring planting outside and spring-cleaning inside the home. i am always dreaming of and searching for that certain mix inside and outside the home. below right is a loosely composed arrangement of miscellaneous handmade bits that will become part of a necklace, wreath, cardholder or other accessory.
