rosemary and lavender are two of my favorite plants. their texture, usefulness, versatility and scent only add to its beauty. their beauty and an incredibly adorable bird outline from one of my daughters books, inspired the golden bird wreath below. the hand-formed golden wreath is meant to add a sweet note of instant warmth and charm from wherever it hangs. the wreath is hanging in my shop.

i have so many ideas for new objects to make that sometimes it feels frenetic and i just want to calm myself with pretty things to look at which may lead to more ideas..and so it goes. the light in certain surfaces and against certain textures amazes me, it can be ethereal and extremely calming. a boutinnierre/pin that's almost done - shown below soon to be in the shop - to add that certain lasting charm to a special lapel on any occasion.

strong, useful and hardworking...describes the shade of denim and indigo blue's character traits. as the color black anchors whatever interior, exterior or outfit it's used for - denim and indigo blue are the steady, working, everyday, comforting hues. a new one-of-a-kind hand-stitched denim cardholder (shown below) is in the shop.

so many things inspire me and make me imagine new possibilities...if i had a gentle reminder suspended somewhere highly visible to make a point of utilizing this action...well, it could prove very useful. when i imagine my daughter's room looking like the one below, my desk looking as inspired as the two below and standing in the grassy knoll as pictured, it makes me swoon with delight. then i wonder how to get there. from there, sometimes a plan emerges eventually. the banners below are in the shop.
