i've been eating a lot of citrus lately and realizing how healthy and cheerfully snappy citrus is to look at and eat. it adds a zing - flavor wise and visually. let the citrus in. a new handmade cardholder - shown below - is in the shop. a perfectly soft and easy fit for your plastic charge cards, calling cards or business cards.

welcoming 2015 with images of thoughtfully layered softness. i would celebrate newness that adds fresh beauty and structure to those who use it - whether they carry it, sit on it, wear it, look at it, walk through it or cook and clean in it - how lucky and a bit pampered i would feel to be surrounded by what's dangling below. embrace what makes you feel pampered once in awhile.

relaxing, strengthening, quietly majestic and full of character....trees, trees, trees. each one is unique and can stand on its own, but in groupings they appear more symphonic. enjoy the dangling handmade trees that will appear in the shop this week. each has its own one-of-a-kind color scheme.

there isn't much of a hint of thanksgiving here, though i'm swirling in thoughts of planning for the big feast. i'm too eager to feed my green thoughts with what inspires me botanically speaking. one of my green thoughts inspired me to make the olive wreath hanging below and in my shop.

autumn days cast soft subdued yet intense light in contrast with striking patches of changing landscape which makes blue, especially denim blue and indigo, bounce off all that so beautifully. the textures and colors are so compatible. an almost square denim drop necklace dangles below and in the shop. the tiny piece of denim was laying around my project table nearby a cut off thread end of linen. i piled the cast off linen on top of the denim and embraced the combination. more denim, linen pairings to follow - eventually.

black adds sturdy drama in any setting or design. a new black wreath is hanging below and in the shop. i felt inspired to make it to fulfill a longing for a new old fashioned doodad.
