summer solstice always reminds me of the time friends and i traveled to the california coastal town of santa barbara for their annual solstice celebration. santa barabara is a charming town with an abundance of beautiful white stucco spanish colonial revival style buildings and vibrantly colored bougainvillea vines. offering up a santa barbara inspired festive combination of white and fuschia for this first day of summer.
